Job summary

Frost Valley YMCA is seeking a Resident Camp Nurse to live on site and provide medical care to campers and staff. Responsibilities include administering medications, basic first aid, maintaining records, responding to emergencies, and coordinating care with outside providers in accordance with state and association policies.

The role requires NY LPN or RN license, ability to live on site, and strong organization; valid US driver's license and proficiency with Gmail and Microsoft Office are

Qualifications

• Hold current New York State LPN or RN License.
• Excellent organization.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in a timely and safe manner.
• Accurately document all care given and maintain confidentiality of medical records.
• Provide basic and emergency healthcare to guests and staff in compliance with physician orders and Frost Valley policies.
• Respond to calls to the Wellness Center by radio and phone.
• On occasion serve as LPN/RN on-call overnight when guests are on property.
• Ensure the Wellness Center and medical venues are clean and orderly.
• Facilitate smooth transition of care to outside medical providers and provide follow up as needed.
• Collaborate with Wellness Center Staff and other departments to ensure safety and positive health outcomes.
