Job summary

Academy Camps is seeking a Camp Nurse to oversee health and safety for campers and staff during the summer sessions. You will work with a medical team of 4-5 nurses and 2-3 athletic trainers to care for ill or injured campers.

This on-site, full-time position requires RN licensure, CPR/First Aid certifications, and experience in pediatric and adult care. Room and board are provided, with compensation competitive for the season.

Qualifications

• RN with license required by state law.
• CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification and emergency management experience.
• Driver’s license.
• Experience caring for children and adults in medical settings.
• Desire to work with campers aged 10–16.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare to meet the needs of campers and staff.
• Collaborate with medical staff to address medical needs.
• Maintain health center operations and medical records.
• Oversee first aid procedures and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with camp leadership on health-related communications.
