Job summary

Juniper Communities in Monroeville, PA seeks Care Aides to join our memory care team. Roles are available as full-time or part-time with a 3 pm–11 pm shift, offering competitive wages and the option to be paid on-demand through DailyPay.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in memory care or caregiving experience; High school diploma required. CNA is optional. We hire immediately and support our diverse, inclusive culture across 35 years of service.

Qualifications

• 5 years in memory care or caregiving experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Caregiving experience of 1 year preferred; CNA certification optional.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hair care, continence management, transportation, appointments, dining, and activities).
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Communicate effectively with team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Role: Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
• Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – (Optional)
