Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking Care aides to join our team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Full-time and part-time shifts are available, with weekend availability required. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs as instructed, communicating with the team and families, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Direct Caregiver Certification required (if available).
• Med Tech Certificate preferred but not required.

Role: Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities

Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.

Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.

Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.

Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred) Med Tech Certificate (Preferred)
