Job summary

The Meadows of Wadena is hiring Resident Assistants and CNAs to support our senior residents in daily living tasks. Competitive pay ranges are offered for Resident Assistant ($20–$22) and CNA ($22–$24) along with multiple shift options.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meals, and activities of daily living, while ensuring safety and dignity. We provide training, opportunity for tuition reimbursement, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• No previous long-term care experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for resident care and safety.
• Willingness to learn medication handling and safety protocols as directed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal cares as scheduled.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean living environment.
• Observe residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition to supervisors.

Afternoon. Overnight and Casual Shifts

As a Resident Assistant at The Meadows of Wadena, you will be challenged and rewarded in your work assisting residents with their daily living tasks. You will be part of a supportive and hard-working team making a difference in the lives of our seniors.

If you enjoy helping others and want to make a real impact in the lives of seniors, then this is the position for you. Job responsibilities include assisting residents with personal cares as scheduled; performing housekeeping duties; observing residents and reporting changes in physical and emotional condition; assisting with meals as directed; and passing medications and supervising resident self-administration.

Shifts/Hours:

• 2p – 10:30p, 72 hours every two weeks, including other weekend.
• 10p – 6:30, full-time, including every other weekend. This position is an awake position.
• Casual - willing and able to work all shifts.

• - Shift differentials for overnights,and weekends!
• - Tuition reimbursement is available for post-secondary nursing degree programs.
