Job summary

American House Senior Living Communities seeks a dedicated Resident Assistant (RA) for the Midnight shift at a community location. You will support residents with daily care, promote safety, and help create a warm, welcoming environment.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor condition changes, facilitate activities, and work with a caring team to ensure high-quality, person-centered care for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or senior living is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 25–50 lbs as needed for resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report observations to leadership.
• Encourage resident engagement in activities, programs, and social events.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in resident apartments and common areas.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support new resident orientation and help them feel welcome in the community.
