Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Compliance training to work in long-term care (provided by Interim).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and support patients safely.
• Good communication skills and a dependable, compassionate nature.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents and patients with daily personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support patients with feeding and nutritional intake.
• Perform light tasks related to ambulation, repositioning, and safety.
• Take vitals, monitor basic health indicators, and report changes in condition.
• Work as part of a care team that may include RNs, LPNs, physicians, and other aides.
• Observe patients and notify appropriate staff of any care or behavioral concerns.
