Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality daily living support to residents at our Hockessin community. You will assist with ADLs, housekeeping, meals and activity participation while maintaining confidentiality and reporting concerns.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of an approved Personal Care Aide program, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days).

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in-writing.
  • CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to become certified within 60 days.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Perform housekeeping tasks and maintain residents' living areas and common areas.
  • Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
  • Assist residents with meals, activities, and transportation as directed.
  • Support move-in processes and provide emotional support to new residents.
