Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Delaware is seeking a Resident Assistant/PCA to support residents with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and cleanliness. You will work closely with the nursing team, participate in activity programs, and respond calmly to emergencies while protecting resident confidentiality.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days), and a flexible schedule

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Successfully completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living.
  • Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas.
  • Respond promptly to calls for assistance and emergencies.
  • Help with meals and dining room transitions.
  • Support activity programs and resident mobility with proper body mechanics.
