Job summary

Galerie Management is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to provide warm, resident-centered care within our Fayetteville community. You will assist with daily living activities and support residents to maintain independence.

This on-site role emphasizes safety, observation of changes, and collaboration with the Wellness Director and care team. Training opportunities and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant license preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend resident care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans.
• Monitor changes in residents’ status and document observations.
• Develop and update Resident Care Plans.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive living environment.

Job Title: Resident AssistantReports to: Wellness DirectorSummary: The Resident Assistant will provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, and support to all residents within the Galerie Management community.Responsibilities and Duties:Assists residents with all activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, mobility- as directed by their individual service plansMonitors changes in residents’ status and personal care needs; documents observations and advises supervisors and/or clinical associates as appropriateAssists in the development and updating of Resident Care PlansEncourages resident participation in scheduled life enrichment activitiesAssists with laundry and light housekeeping tasks as directedMonitors the community and takes appropriate action to keep the environment safe, clean, and attractive for residents, guests, and co-workersParticipates in and attends all in-service training and education programs as scheduledEnsures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and Galerie Management’s policies and procedures.This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
