Job summary

Village Park Senior Living LLC in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide warm personal care to residents in the Galerie Management community. The role reports to the Wellness Director and offers full- or part-time hours with hourly pay.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor resident status, and support care plans and enrichment programs. Must be 18+, HS diploma or GED; CNA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• CNA license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, mobility) as directed by service plans.
• Monitor changes in residents' status and document observations for supervisors.
• Assist in developing and updating Resident Care Plans.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities.
• Assist with laundry and light housekeeping as directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Reports to: Wellness Director

Summary

The Resident Assistant will provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, and support to all residents within the Galerie Management community.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assists residents with all activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, mobility- as directed by their individual service plans


• Monitors changes in residents' status and personal care needs; documents observations and advises supervisors and/or clinical associates as appropriate


• Assists in the development and updating of Resident Care Plans


• Encourages resident participation in scheduled life enrichment activities


• Assists with laundry and light housekeeping tasks as directed


• Monitors the community and takes appropriate action to keep the environment safe, clean, and attractive for residents, guests, and co-workers


• Participates in and attends all in-service training and education programs as scheduled


• Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and Galerie Management's policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Education and Duties

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have either a High School Diploma or GED


• An active Certified Nursing Assistant license is preferred for this position but not required

• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to residents, residents' families, and other associates of the company


• Uses good judgment in emergency situations and gets help when needed

Working Conditions
