What You'll Do:

• Personal Care Assistance: Provide assistance with residents' activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their comfort, privacy, and dignity.
• Safety and Security: Monitor residents for signs of distress, illness, or emergencies. Follow safety protocols, including fall prevention, and respond appropriately to incidents.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of resident care, changes in condition, medication administration, and daily activities.
• Communication: Collaborate effectively with the nursing team and staff to ensure seamless communication about residents' needs and updates.
• Resident Engagement: Plan and participate in recreational activities, exercise programs, and social events to promote residents' physical and emotional well-being. Tailor activities to residents' interests.
• Maintain Residents' Privacy: Respect and protect residents' privacy and confidentiality at all times, adhering to HIPAA regulations and facility policies.

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or GED is typically required.
• People Skills: Friendly, patient, and a good listener. Our residents are like family, and we treat them that way.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others, especially our nursing team and staff.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring residents' comfort and safety requires being detail-oriented.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

The role involves working mainly within the assisted living unit, with a mix of hands-on work, interaction with residents, families, and staff. Physical demands include standing, bending, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assisting residents with transfers, all performed with proper body mechanics.
