Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking a caring Resident Assistant to help residents with daily living activities, working with a team of Partners to enhance their quality of life.

This part-time 2nd shift and PRN role offers starting pay of $15/hour, opportunities to grow, and a robust benefits package including medical, life and pet insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, holidays, daily pay access, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification: No certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident.
• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident.
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure.
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge.
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge.
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.

Pay: Starting from $15.00/Hr, increases with experience
