Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking compassionate Wellness Resident Assistants to help residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in a cheerful, timely manner. You will coordinate with nursing staff and other team members to ensure high-quality care across our community.

Part-time shifts 8am-noon are available in a supportive, person-centered environment with growth opportunities and strong benefits. Join a team dedicated to dignity, respect, and resident choices.

Qualifications

• Education must be high school diploma or GED.
• First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner
• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident
• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident
• Roll carts, laundry hampers and other equipment safely through work and resident areas
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge
