Job summary

Briarfield Health Care Centers in Mahoning and Columbiana Counties is seeking Resident Assistants to support residents with daily living activities, assist with laundry, and maintain a clean, safe living environment in our Assisted Living locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or related experience/training (1–3 months).
• Must have current First Aid Certification or obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine residents' needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist with resident laundry when needed.
• Complete light housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant living environment.
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested.

The Residential Assistant (RA) is responsible for:

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs.
• Resident Assistants assist residents with specific needs involving their activities of daily living.
• Resident Assistants assist assists with resident's laundry when needed.
• Resident Assistants complete light housekeeping duties.
• Maintain physical environment in a clean, safe, and pleasant manner.
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested

Qualification

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have current First Aid Certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
