Department Overview

The Lodge at Winthrop offers services for up to 16 tenants, providing a family-oriented environment that promotes independence and freedom. We are adding a PRN staff member to our team, offering flexibility in scheduling.

Summary

Provides care and services such as medication administration, healthcare services, activities of daily living assistance, and other duties as assigned, in a caring, safe, and efficient manner, adhering to location standards and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist residents with self-administration of medications; may administer medications with proper training.
2. Assist residents in maintaining proper and clean appearance, including bathing and personal hygiene.
3. Support residents with toileting, dressing, and undressing.
4. Assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking.
5. Obtain vital signs accurately and report changes in health status.
6. Follow OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize infections, including aseptic techniques and SDS guidelines for chemical use.
7. Assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks according to standards and regulations.
8. Handle linens and clothing, including folding, hanging, and laundering soiled items.
9. Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms, work areas, and other public spaces.
10. Participate in community involvement and collaborate with volunteers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; may be required based on state.
• Must meet minimum age requirements if a lift is utilized.
• Complete and maintain medication administration training and competencies as per state guidelines.
