The Lodge at Winthrop offers services for up to 16 tenants, providing a family-oriented environment that promotes independence and freedom.

We are adding a PRN staff member to our team! This role offers flexibility for your scheduled hours, including coverage for shifts across days, evenings, nights, and weekends, with evening and weekend shift differentials. Summary

Provides care and services such as medication administration, healthcare services, activities of daily living assistance, and other duties, performed in a caring, safe, and efficient manner, following location standards and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist residents with self-administration of medications; may administer medications with proper training.
2. Assist residents with bathing, maintaining cleanliness, toileting, dressing, and undressing.
3. Help residents with transferring, repositioning, and walking.
4. Accurately obtain and report vital signs.
5. Follow OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize infections, including aseptic techniques and SDS guidelines for chemical exposure.
6. Assist with preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks.
7. Handle linens, laundry, and cleaning of residents' rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
8. Participate in community activities and work with volunteers.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred; requirements may vary by state. Must meet minimum age requirements if using resident lifts. Complete and maintain medication administration training and competencies as per state guidelines.
