Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time/PRN Resident Assistant to join our caring team in Beaverton, Oregon. You will support residents with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe, respectful living environment for our elderly residents.

You will participate in activities, assist with meals, and help ensure health and well-being while upholding our commitment to quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Must be able to pass tests (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers) if required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Responds promptly to resident needs and coordinates care as necessary; assists in dining room during meals.
• Encourages participation in scheduled activities and outings and assists with those activities.
• Maintains cleanliness of the community and tidies resident rooms daily.
• Assists with resident laundry per shift guidelines.
