Job summary

American House Senior Living Communities is seeking a Resident Assistant for night shift to support residents and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. The role includes assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, and daily activities, while fostering meaningful relationships with residents and families.

You will work under RN/LPN supervision, promote dignity and independence, and participate in ongoing training and advancement opportunities within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

• Follow individualized care plans to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in apartments and common areas.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support new resident orientation and welcome new residents to the community.

Residents Assistants are an essential part of our wellness team by providing basic personal assistance to the residents in maintaining their highest level of functional independence and psychosocial wellness under the direction and supervision of a RN or LPN.

Job Summary

As a Resident Assistant (RA) at American House, you will play a critical role supporting seniors, enriching their lives, and helping them live their best life. • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

• Encourage resident engagement in activities, programs, and social events.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in resident apartments and common areas.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support new resident orientation and help them feel welcome in the community.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–50 lbs as needed for resident care.
