Job summary

American House Senior Living Communities seeks a dedicated Resident Assistant for the 3rd shift to support residents’ daily care and wellbeing. You’ll assist with ADLs, monitor changes, and help maintain a warm, safe living environment that honors residents' independence.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–50 lbs as needed for resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report observations to leadership.
• Encourage resident engagement in activities, programs, and social events.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in resident apartments and common areas.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support new resident orientation and help them feel welcome in the community.
