Job summary

Great Lakes Management Co. in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will support daily living activities, communicate with residents and families, and collaborate with the care team.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to follow care plans. Hours are 6:30a-2:45p with a competitive hourly pay range of $18.00 to $24.00, and benefits such as shift differentials and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement. R esponsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings .

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilities :
