Job summary

American House Senior Living Communities seeks a Resident Assistant to support seniors from 7am to 7pm in a full-time role. You will assist with daily living activities, help residents engage in programs, and contribute to a warm, welcoming community environment.

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Monitor residents for changes and report observations to leadership.
• Encourage participation in activities, programs, and social events.
• Follow care plans to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and teammates.
• Support new resident orientation and welcome them to the community.

Job Summary

As a Resident Assistant (RA) at American House, you will play a critical role supporting seniors, enriching their lives, and helping them live their best life. The meaningful relationships you develop will help you support the daily care needs of the residents and support community activities while creating a safe, warm and welcoming environment-.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in resident apartments and common areas.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support new resident orientation and help them feel welcome in the community.
