Job summary

American House Senior Living Communities is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to support a clean, safe, and welcoming home for residents across a single community.

You will perform daily cleaning of resident apartments and common areas, manage laundry tasks, and assist with tours while providing attentive customer service in a compassionate senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment (vacuum, mop, washer/dryer, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to work various schedules and shifts.
• Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, trash removal, making beds, and linen service.
• Clean public spaces and restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies throughout the day.
• Monitor the building for cleanliness and sanitation needs.
• Transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute personal laundry and linens.
• Change bedding and maintain tidy laundry spaces.
• Interact politely with prospective resident tours.
