Job summary

Carefree Living in Silver Bay, MN is seeking Resident Assistants for our assisted living community. You will support daily living activities and deliver compassionate, resident-centered care, working as part of a team that values respect, dignity, and professional growth.

Part-time AM shifts with a $1.50 differential for 6pm–6am and $1 extra on weekends are available. The role requires caring communication, reliability, and the ability to meet physical requirements; prior caregiving is preferred

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position
• DHS and criminal background study will be conducted
• Able to use computer and basic Internet skills

Schedule: Part-time AM Shift

Extra $1.50 shift differential for 6pm–6am shifts plus an extra $1.00 on the weekends

Responsibilities

• Relationship building and ensuring the ultimate level of care and customer service is provided
• Assist adults with activities of daily living
• Provide a safe, healthy and productive daily living environment
• Increase quality of life by being respectful, professional, and understanding of the client's needs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
• CNA Certification Is NOT REQUIRED
• Must have a passion for providing excellent care and customer service
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills
• Pass basic written competency and skills test
• Position requires computer use; knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office is required
• Selected candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position and will be subject to a DHS and criminal background study
