Morning Pointe Memory Care Communities are dedicated to providing services that enhance the wellness, lifestyle and enjoyment of senior living. As a Resident Assistant/CNA on the 2nd shift, you’ll support daily activities and care for residents with compassion and dignity.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living with respect and dignity.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other care duties.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks.
• Help with setup, service and feeding if necessary.
• Perform housekeeping duties as necessary.

Resident Assistants/CNAs Are Expected To Accomplish Tasks Outside Of Their Normal Assignments Whenever Necessary To Maintain a Quality Care Environment For Our Residents. As Part Of a Team-oriented Workplace, Resident Assistants Participate In Training Opportunities And Offer Help To Other Areas And Staff In Need. The Typical Work Of a Resident Assistant Can Include

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Assist residents with meals and snacks
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
