Job summary

The Birches Assisted Living in Clarendon Hills, IL is seeking a Resident Assistant for a full-time evening shift (3-11PM). The role offers predictable scheduling, with every other weekend required, and options to pick up extra hours through our scheduling software.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, building relationships, and supporting a culture of Successful Aging. Education: High School Diploma; CNA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift minimum 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma required; CNA preferred but not required.
• Experience working with older adults is preferred and on the job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Know residents and their families by spending time getting to know them.
• Engage residents and connect with them in a compassionate, memorable way.
• Provide scheduled and unscheduled assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, etc.).
• Assist with programs and activities and help with dining as assigned.
