Legacy Senior Living in Douglasville, GA is seeking a CNA/Resident Assistant to provide compassionate personal care and support to residents. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, report changes, and collaborate with a caring team to ensure dignity and comfort for each resident.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and emotional support per care plan.
• Assist with daily activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, medications reminders.
• Respond promptly to resident needs day or night.
• Build relationships with residents and families with trust and compassion.
• Escort residents to meals and activities; encourage social engagement.
• Observe and report changes to wellness leadership.
• Maintain documentation and comply with care policies.
• Assist with dining service, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Uphold residents' rights, independence, and safety.

Your Role in the Legacy Mission

What You’ll Do

• Provide personal care and emotional support in accordance with each resident’s individual care plan
• Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication reminders
• Respond promptly to resident needs and calls—day or night
• Build relationships with residents and families based on trust and compassion
• Escort residents to meals and activities, and encourage social engagement
• Observe and report any changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to wellness leadership
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with resident care policies
• Assist with dining service, light housekeeping, laundry, and other daily comforts
• Uphold resident rights, dignity, independence, and safety at all times

Who You Are

• A compassionate and dependable caregiver who finds purpose in serving others
• Experience in senior living, home health, or caregiving is a plus—but not required
• Comfortable working in a team environment and communicating clearly
• Willing to learn and follow care plans, safety policies, and training protocols
• Able to lift, bend, and assist residents as needed, using proper body mechanics
