Job summary

Legacy Senior Living in Rome, GA is seeking a CNA/Resident Assistant / Caregiver to provide personalized care, preserve dignity, and help residents stay independent.

You will follow individualized care plans, assist with activities of daily living, observe changes, document accurately, and participate in a compassionate team devoted to meaningful, purpose-driven work.

Qualifications

• Experience in care giving to older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and emotional support in accordance with each resident’s individual care plan
• Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication reminders
• Respond promptly to resident needs and calls—day or night
• Build relationships with residents and families based on trust and compassion
• Escort residents to meals and activities, and encourage social engagement
• Observe and report any changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to wellness leadership
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with resident care policies
• Assist with dining service, light housekeeping, laundry, and other daily comforts
• Uphold resident rights, dignity, independence, and safety at all times

Who You Are

A compassionate and dependable caregiver who finds purpose in serving others

Experience in senior living, home health, or caregiving is a plus—but not required

Comfortable working in a team environment and communicating clearly

Willing to learn and follow care plans, safety policies, and training protocols

Able to lift, bend, and assist residents as needed, using proper body mechanics

Must pass background checks and applicable state screenings
