Job summary

Heritage Senior Living is seeking compassionate CNAs and Resident Assistants to join our team at Heritage Court Senior Living in Menomonee Falls, WI. You'll provide personalized care to help residents maintain independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

CNAs help with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and daily living activities following individual care plans. CNA certification is desirable but not required; previous caregiving experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification desirable, but not required.
• Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete required CBRF certifications and training.
• Ability to safely use applicable resident transfer and mobility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and other activities of daily living.
• Provide care according to each resident's ISP.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and safe practices.
• Complete wellness checks and respond promptly to resident calls and alarms.
• Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report concerns.
• Accurately document resident care and services.
• Assist with medications when appropriately trained and delegated.
• Follow resident-rights, infection prevention, and safety requirements.
• Participate in required meetings and training.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and homelike environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.

What You'll Do

As a CNA/Resident Assistant, you'll get to know our residents and provide individualized support based on their needs and preferences.

Schedule

Our residents depend on us 24/7, so opportunities may be available across day, evening, and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
