Job summary

Complete Care at Jefferson Meadows in Baraboo, WI is hiring a Resident Assistant (RCA) to provide attentive care in an assisted living setting. You’ll support residents with daily activities, maintain clean living spaces, and document care accurately.

We offer a supportive team environment with training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement. Daily pay is available to give you financial flexibility while you care for others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active CBRF Certification is required.
• CNA certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for charting and communication.
• Previous caregiving or long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, meals, feeding assistance, ambulating, transferring, turning, positioning, and toileting.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living spaces.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follow CBRF regulations, state, federal, and facility policies.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises per care plans.
• Engage residents in activities that promote independence and well-being.
• Respond to resident requests and call lights.
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver holistic, person-centered care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Now Hiring: Resident Assistant (Full-Time/Part-Time)

As a Resident Assistant at St. Claire Meadows, you’ll be a vital part of creating a safe, comfortable, and joyful environment for our residents. Your empathy, attentiveness, and commitment will directly enhance their daily lives.

Your Responsibilities

• Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, meals, feeding assistance, ambulating, transferring, turning, positioning, and toileting

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living spaces—including tidying rooms, changing linens, and assisting with personal items

• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly to ensure clear and consistent communication

• Follow all CBRF regulations, as well as state, federal, and facility policies and procedures

• Observe and report any notable changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or behavioral condition

• Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises per individualized care plans

• Engage residents in interactive activities that encourage independence, connection, and well-being

• Respond quickly and kindly to resident requests and call lights

• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the care team to deliver holistic, person-centered care

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support smooth daily operations

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Active CBRF Certification (required)

• CNA a plus!
