Job summary

Hickory Senior Living Management, LLC is seeking a dedicated caregiver for the 11pm–7am shift at our Alabama community. You will provide compassionate personal care, assist with ADLs, and respond to calls for assistance to ensure resident safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with medications under supervision, dining room service, and light housekeeping. A positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and make simple calculations.
• Able to lift 75 pounds unassisted and 125 pounds with assistance.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Drug-free workplace; background checks performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and services for residents including helping with ADLs and mobility.
• Respond to pull cords and calls for assistance.
• Assist residents with medications as directed by staff.
• Serve residents in dining room in a professional manner.
• Clean resident apartments and common areas; launder clothing and linens.
• Accompany residents to scheduled appointments.

3rd Shift 11p-7a

Pay Range: $11-14/Hour | Immediate Access to DailyPay

• Rate of pay is based on experience

• Provide exceptional customer service to all residents, families, and guests

• Provide personal care and services for all residents including:

  • Respond to the pull cord system and calls for assistance

  • Assist all residents in the event of an emergency

  • Assist with ADL’s includingambulating,transfers, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, meals,etc.

  • Assist in performing, monitoring and supervision of daily personal hygiene of residents

  • Assist residents with medications

  • Serve residents in the dining room in a professional, friendly manner

  • Clean resident’s apartments, launder their clothing and linens, clean common areas of community

  • Accompany residents toscheduled appointments

• Must be able to read, write, and make simple calculations and followbothoral and writteninstructions

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted and 125 pounds per person in a two-person lift, using proper body mechanics

• Overall good physical and mental health

• Overall patient and compassionate

• Will be regular in attendance, with the right attitude and attire

• Must work well with othersand independently

• Sincere desire to work with the elderly and the infirmed
