Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Wyoming, MN is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide personal care and health-related services to residents, supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing in Meadows on Fairview Assisted Living.

The role requires comfort with basic technology, a care-focused approach, and the ability to work day/evening 12-hour shifts on a 2-week block schedule, including every third weekend, with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (bathing/showering, foot and fingernail care) and meal service in dining room
• Assist with preparing for and facilitating resident social and recreational activities as assigned
• Observe residents and report status to appropriate staff
• Notify staff of changes in physical or emotional conditions
• Serve as a mandated reporter and report concerns regarding potential mistreatment
• Offer pertinent observations and input
• Respond to resident and building emergencies

Job Overview

We are looking for a Resident Assistant to join our team at Meadows on Fairview Assisted Living in Wyoming, MN! This position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.

Meadows on Fairview Senior Living, is Ebenezer’s 51 Unit Assisted Living and Transitional Care Community located in Wyoming, MN near Highway 35, County Roads 8, and 61. Conveniently across the street from Fairview Lakes Hospital and Dialysis center offering a full continuum of care for our residents. Our community is small enough to get to know your residents and co-workers yet large enough to provide you with opportunities and room to grow. Our tenured staff is dedicated to healing, discovering and educating for longer, healthier and substantial lives.

This schedule includes;

• 35 hours every two weeks


• Day/Evening shift


• 12 hour shift


• Every third weekend rotation

Block Schedule:

Week 1: Monday, WednesdayWeek 2: Saturday, SundayWeek 3: Wednesday, Friday6am - 6:15pm

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to:

• Responds appropriately to resident and building emergencies.
