Job description

PM shift, shift differential is $1.00 per hour; Overnight shift, shift differential is $2.00 per hour.

Resident Assistant Job Objectives:

The Resident Assistant provides physical and emotional care as outlined in each resident's service agreement. Responsibilities include effective communication with residents and families, notifying the case manager of any changes, assisting in dining and activities.

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with ADLs as per the service agreement
  • Help residents achieve independence and well-being
  • Provide physical and emotional support
  • Assist with treatments delegated by the RN
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional states
  • Engage with residents for reassurance and redirection
  • Complete required documentation daily

Qualifications:

  • Six months experience in long-term care or assisted living (Preferred)
  • Registered as a Nursing Assistant, HHA, or CNA (Preferred)
  • Ability to make responsible decisions in residents' best interests
