Great Lakes Management is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents at Talamore Senior Living in Grand Rapids. You will assist with daily living activities, help in dining and participate in outings, under supervision.

The role emphasizes resident safety, communication with families, and timely reporting of changes to the case manager. Prior long-term care experience and CNAs are preferred; part-time shift blocks are available.

Formación

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident's best interests.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with ADLs as described in each resident's service plan.
• Support residents physically and emotionally to promote independence.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service plan.
• Observe clients and report changes in condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance and engagement.
• Complete required documentation daily and maintain schedules.

• Pay Range -$18-$22.00

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands-on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service agreement. Responsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assists in the dining room and participating in activities and outings.

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilitie s:

• Assist residents with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to the case manager.
• Interactwith residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Qualifications:

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interests.
