Western Home is seeking a caring Resident Assistant/ Medication Manager to join our award-winning team. What you'll do as a Resident Assistant/Medication Manager:

• Provide care to residents under the supervision of the nurse and support of your team
• Assist residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and exercises
• Organize, clean, do laundry, prepare meals, and handle other assigned tasks
• Promptly respond to residents' calls for assistance with compassionate care aligned to their care plans
• Chart resident interactions and communicate effectively with team members
• With your Medication Manager certificate, perform medication preparation and administration, tests, and treatments
• Ensure residents' rights are respected and upheld

What you'll need as a Resident Assistant/Medication Manager:

• Must be 18 years old to obtain a Medication Manager certification
• Willing to obtain Medication Manager certification (we will enroll you if needed)
• (Not required) Current active license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa
• Ability to interact tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and the public
• Strong commitment to serving others
• Prior direct care experience is preferred but not required
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
