Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Resident Assistant for full-time overnight shifts in Minnesota facilities. You will work under the supervision of licensed nurses to deliver high-quality direct care, assist residents with activities of daily living, and help maintain independence and safety for tenants.
The role requires clear English communication, teamwork, and adherence to care plans. Training in medication administration may be provided; evenings, weekends, and holiday rotations
Full time, overnight shift. Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing tenants with the highest quality of direct routine care in all activities of daily living, under the supervision of the licensed nurse or AL Clinical Manager and in accordance with the Service Plan, MDH Nursing Assistant Program standards, the Tenant’s Bill of Rights and the campus Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. According to the Plan of Care for the tenant, RAs apply skills in basic nursing, personal care and basic restorative services while understanding the mental health and social service needs of the tenant and being mindful of the needs in cognitively impaired tenants. The RA is part of the interdisciplinary care team that is dedicated to promoting independence, autonomous decision-making and facilitating tenants to achieve and maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
The Resident Assistant can be trained in medication administration and give tenants medications as needed.
