Job summary

StoneBridge Effington IL is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate, routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans and facility policies and under the direction of supervisors. Join a family-like team where caregivers are valued and supported.

You will assist with meals, basic hygiene, and daily living activities, and participate in scheduled training to obtain CNA certification if needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education - HS Diploma / GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Demonstrated competencies as a written and verbal communicator
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes

Responsibilities

• Provide each resident with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training to obtain CNA certification.
• Assist residents with daily hygiene, mouth care, bathing and other care tasks.
• Prepare residents for meals, serve food, and record intake.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant


• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath and other care functions as necessary.


• Prepare residents for meals and serve food, record intake of food and fluids.


• All other duties as assigned.
