Job summary

A leading senior living community in Oxnard is seeking a Care Provider for the NOC shift, from 10 PM to 6:30 AM. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities and ensuring a safe environment. Ideal candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have a strong desire to work with the elderly. Training is provided, and the position offers several benefits including medical and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living as specified in the resident’s service plan.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' dignity and safety.
• Communicate any observed resident changes to a supervisor immediately.

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident changes of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
