Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

• Flexibility to work every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed and document accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety, including light housekeeping and infection control.
• Assess changes in resident condition and report to supervisor promptly.
• Follow schedules and assist with meal times and feeding as needed.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care and support to residents and families.
• Support teammates and complete all charting and required documentation.
• Respond to call lights and address residents' needs in a timely manner.

Bridgeway Park Superior Senior Living Facility in Superior, MI is hiring Care Staff!

We are looking for friendly, caring individuals who will treat our residents like family! As a care staff and med tech, you will be helping our residents with their daily care as well as assisting with their medication administration. Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Passing medication is a primary responsibility along with hands-on care to each resident.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to the supervisor.
• Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts.
• Following schedule, and assisting residents with repositioning.
• Follow procedures regarding documenting medications.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties.
• Complete all required documents and charting.
• Answer call lights and assess residents' needs.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
