Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing, a long-standing provider of in-home and facility-based caregiving, seeks Resident Aides to work across multiple facilities. You’ll deliver essential personal care, support daily activities, and collaborate with a team of clinicians to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The role offers flexible scheduling, competitive hourly pay of $18, with same day/next day pay options, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of caregiving experience or CNA course with verifiable references.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate, good communicator, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities.
• Work with team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs and aides to deliver care.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming and eating.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Check vitals, document changes, and observe patient condition.
• Notify supervisor of issues requiring changes in care or equipment.

As a Resident Aide here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs and aides to deliver excellent patient care
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, and document any changes
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment

A few must-haves for Resident Aides:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• 6 Months of previous adult caregiving OR completion of a CNA course (must provide professional references to verify experience OR certificate of completion of CNA class).
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
