Job summary

Lanier-Rehabilitation-Center is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to support pre-admission through discharge processes. You will back up the Director of Admissions, coordinate electronic referrals, and ensure timely admission documentation and bed assignments for residents and patients.

You will work with social services to meet psychosocial needs, escort tours, and assist with room changes while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years experience in health care education/ marketing / insurance or commensurate educations preferred.
• Must be familiar with medical terminology.
• Proficient in the use of personal computer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-admission, admission and discharge processes.
• Back up Director of Admissions; coordinate referrals and complete assessments.
• Manage admission agreements, bed-offer process, and room assignments.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policy and state/federal guidelines.
