Arcadia LTC is seeking an Activity Aide to support the planning and execution of recreational, social, intellectual, and emotional programs tailored to each resident’s care plan. You will help plan, implement and evaluate activities, contributing to a positive quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care activities department.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm in working with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and charting daily activity programs; contribute to quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning activity rooms for scheduled programs.
• Oversee residents’ engagement in activities to promote physical, social and mental well-being.
