Arcadia Care is seeking an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, and spiritual programs for residents, aligned with care plans and assessments. You will help prepare activity rooms, supervise residents during activities, and promote physical, social, and mental well-being through engaging programs, under the supervision of the Activities Department.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm; ability to handle residents at various maturity levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote their physical, social, and mental well-being.
