Rockport Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated CNA to lead resident activities and support daily operations in a long-term care center. The role involves implementing therapeutic and diversional activities, updating calendars, posting communications, and managing resident mail daily.

The candidate should hold a California CNA license, have at least two years in social or recreational programs, and bring strong English communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Formación

• Two years’ experience in a social or recreational program setting.
• Must hold a valid California CNA license and be certified.
• Experience in long-term care or related health care field is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs patient activities (therapeutic and diversional) for all residents in accordance with Federal, State and Company requirements.
• Carries out support tasks relating to patient activities correctly and on schedule.
• Ensures resident activity calendars and communications are updated and posted in a timely manner as well as delivery and communication of patient mail daily.
• Participates in special resident events and outings ensuring necessary supplies are on hand and returned appropriately.
• Updates and maintains resident activity records.
• Participates in meetings and ensures creation of necessary communications and documentation, as required.
• Attends required meetings and in-service training.
• Assists with decorating center to reflect current season or holiday.
• Meets with consultants, as required.
• Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adheres to Company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensures that all patient/resident rights are protected.
