Job summary

Arcadia Care seeks an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, and spiritual programs aligned with each resident’s care plan. You will help plan daily activities, maintain quality assurance for the Activities Department, and prepare spaces for programs.

The role includes overseeing residents’ participation in both scheduled and unscheduled activities to support their physical, social, and mental well-being in a supportive care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long-Term Care Activities Department.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• Willing to handle residents based on their current maturity level.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for daily activity programs and quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote physical, social, and mental well-being.
