Job summary

Genesis in Montgomery County, PA is seeking an Activity Assistant to enrich the lives of our patients and residents through planned engagement activities addressing physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.

You will plan and implement monthly recreation activities, document attendance, attend care plan meetings, and collaborate with care teams. A High School diploma and strong English communication are required; we offer a range of benefits and flexible pay options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing of patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities for patients and residents.
• Provide input into the design of monthly recreation therapy services.
• Document patient/resident attendance and participation in recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
