Job summary

• Accreditation as a Certified Activity Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area.
• One-year experience as an Activity Director in long term care.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers activity programs to meet residents' needs.
• Completes admissions interviews and documents the MDS-related sections.
• Plans monthly activity calendars and posts them in the center.
• Coordinates volunteer program and staff training.
• Participates in Resident Care Plan meetings and monitors resident progress.
