The role requires creativity and an outgoing personality, with prior Activity Director experience in long‑term care, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to obtain an L1MA license; you will develop activity care plans, lead therapeutic groups, and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must also agree to obtain a L1MA license.
• Previous Activity Director experience in a long-term care/assisted living facility.
• Creative and outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an on-going program of activities is available to meet the interests and well‑being of each resident.
• Develop, plan, and organize a program for therapeutic groups.
• Teach and facilitate the program to support rehabilitation and health of residents.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of activity care plans.
• Assist with resident assessments.
