Creative Solutions in Healthcare - West is hiring an Activity Director to create engaging programs for residents. You will document activities, assess residents, publish calendars, and coordinate a volunteer program to support enrichment projects.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and state-certified Activity Director credentials, with strong creativity, communication, and organizational skills for detailed program implementation and budget-minded activity planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and Activity Director certification as required by state regulations.
• Creative and strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to document and implement detailed programs.
• Experience creating and implementing resident care plans.
• Ability to develop, organize, and execute activity programs meeting social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs within a budget.

Responsibilities

• Document Activity Programs: maintain detailed records of activity programs and resident participation, identifying progress toward care plan goals.
• Conduct Resident Assessments: perform resident activity histories and assessments per state and federal standards.
• Coordinate Communication: publish/ distribute a monthly calendar of events and newsletters to inform residents and families.
• Build Volunteer Engagement: develop and maintain an active volunteer program to support activities.
