MediLodge of Sterling is seeking a Resident Activity Assistant to support and lead resident activity programming. You will assist the activity director, help plan and run one-to-one, small group, and large group activities, and document resident participation and outcomes in medical records.

Target candidates should be able to use a biopsychosocial approach to support well-being, foster community within the center, and coordinate events with families and staff.

Qualificações

• Experience organizing and leading activities for residents is preferred.
• Ability to document participation and outcomes in records.
• Willingness to learn about therapy modalities used (pets, music, art).

Responsabilidades

• Assist activity director as needed.
• Create engaging activities and adapt to resident needs.
• Lead individual and group activities to promote participation.
• Prepare monthly calendars and post for residents and families.
• Support community engagement and volunteer initiatives.
• Maintain activity equipment and tidy activity areas.
